Ready to Run

In a month, I'll be a real grown-up. I know that sounds weird. There's enough people who still think of me as some little Cindy-Lou Who hopping around sitting on people's laps and fibbing about my age. Let's be honest, I still may not feel like any more of a "real" grown-up, but I'll be done with my undergrad education! (finally!) Earlier in the term, this was pretty intimidating. It means change. It means finding a job and starting a new chapter of my life. It means no more student perks.
Let's be honest-that's all fine with me! At this point, I think the senioritis has taken over. We're almost done!!! Yay!!! We'll be able to work, and not come home to doing more homework or studying. It's time to count down the days and look forward to change, to sniff out and find the new cheese. I bet it's super yummy, anyway. :)

Cindy-Lou Who, you can sit on my lap any day and fib about your age. I'll believe you. :)
I'm proud of you!

You were more grown-up as a five year old than many 30-year olds are today. And wherever you choose to run, whatever changes you encounter, I know you are going to shine. Good work--I'm proud of you.
