djustment, as I'm still keeping it wrapped) and walking without crutches. :) Several people have said "Hey! You're walking, congratulations!" As I used crutches for a couple days, several elders said they would help by carrying me if they could touch me (there can only be elder-sister contact in a handshake), which I thought was funny, and nice in the "it's the thought that counts way. I did go pretty fast even with crutches, so HJnas Jackson and Malio would frequently say Hna, mas lenta" (more slow) In respons I would sometimes act as though I was suddenly a very aged woman. Anyway, it's good to be walking again. I'm going to continue to be good to my ankle and receive a blessing so I will not be delayed in my departure for Ecuador, or in doing the Lord's work. (One elder in mny zone could not leave w/his district a week ago because he broke his arm a couple weeks ago. I think they're going to send him out to the Provo mission until his arm heals well enough to head down to Argentina) The funny thing is that an elder (Nelsen) in my district/class sprained his ankle just a few days before me, so as he was getting off crutches and ice, I started up. The same day I got hurt, another elder in our branch broke his ankle. He just arrived here, though, so he should have time to heal. I'm not sure if our branch is just reckless or what, but injury has been prevalent enough that something about not showing off and just playing carefully was said over the puylpit yesterday...hahaha. I really don't know everyone's situations, but my intent was definitely nbot to show off. Oh well, we're all healing up.
:) I love the temple! I just feel like smiling all day. I think it also has a lot to do with this wonderful call I have to serve! :)
Woohoo! The gospel's true!
