"happy diciembre!! 12/4/2006" Catch-up #4

Hola familia!!

Gracias por the correspondence.  John, since you are learning so much Spanish (and going -to be cool and switch over...) are you okay with me writing in Spanish?  Wait, with all your Spanish speaking companions, that's a cinch.  That's pretty exciting that you have such peer pressuring companions.  Just don't think you need to jump off a bridge because they all want to. :)  Oh yeah, John, I learned that there's a syndrome called Restless leg syndrome.  Interesting, eh?
Thanks for the special extra letters, Matthew and Anita.  They definitely made me happy, first of all to hear about the great missionary work (yes, every member should be a missionary...see Mosiah 18) and to hear about the special prayers and news from you all.  Is it true that John is to give to Anita?  uh-oh  Who am I supposed to give to?  It was really neat for me here in sacrament meeting this week because a new baby was blessed.  This, of course, reminded me of my 3 new sobrinos being blessed in different parts of the world.
Let me know if you have some great Christmas primary activity (during church) ideas that I might be able to implement here. Also, Dad, pouch is definitely just a smidge faster (but surely cheaper), so you can just send mail via pouch.  We're frugal.  The card from huntington's would be great.  I will always have access, because we get mission giro in that manner.
Thanks so much Sonnet and Bethany for your letters.  The artwork of Megan and Jacob has now been added to my wall.  I appreciate the guatita research.  I thought it was cow stomach that I was eating.  It probably is better to not know until afterwards, though, with some things.  As you asked about package items that I would like, I have been brainstorming little things.  I've thought of little bottles of hand sanitizer, repellent with DEET (spray), and just the yummy Christmas at home treats that you think might survive to brighten up our lives.
In general, whatever fun things.  We just love to know we're loved.  More than anything else, a full family picture would be awesome (Diana, were you working on that for Mom?), or at least something with the 9 kids and parents.  People like pictures in general.  Oh yeah, especially good family temple pictures. :)
This has been a hard and an awesome week.  I know this is the work of the Lord, because when we have rough days, He blesses us with amazing teaching opportunities by the night, o algo asi.  Somos bendecidas siempre.  Yo amo esta obra y nuestro Salvador tanto.  Cuidense mucho!!

Hna Sue
I wrote more earlier, but then the connection was being silly, so I'll just send the print-out in some letter.
